The local fishing fleet of some 80 vessels - shellfish harvesters, trawlers and gillnetters, is a driver for the local maritime economy, spearheading a small-scale industry.

The ‘Syndicat Mixte’ of the Channel Port of Dieppe promotes inshore fishing along the Normandy coast, focusing on Dieppe particularly and on its flagship harvest:
