Auctioning

Contenu de la page : Auctioning

Fish and seafood are sold either directly by producers to wholesalers, or auctioned off at the Auction Hall via computerised auction sales.

Approximately 2,500 tonnes of fish, shellfish and crustaceans are auctioned off yearly, including over 1,000 tonnes of scallops.
The Dieppe Auctioning has been computerised and is done in connection with the auctioning in Fécamp.

Twelve employees of the ‘Syndicat Mixte’ of the Channel Port of Dieppe run the auctioning service and the Auction Hall. They prepare auction sales Monday through Saturday.
Flexible opening hours
• Auctions are scheduled Monday through Friday at 0545 hrs outside scallop season.
• Auctions are scheduled Monday through Saturday at 0545 hrs during scallop season.
